KDM Tankard, does it contain lead?

I just bought this vintage tankard. From my research the KDM mark appears to be from the 1950s, and the IG mark means it was exported to the USA. My question is, does anyone know if this contains lead? Is anyone familiar with this era of KDM products? I’m hoping to actually use it to drink beer. Sorry for writing in English, thanks in advance!
